Marsh Fly - - Ospriocerus - male

Marsh Fly - - Ospriocerus - Male
Dinosaur National Park, Moffet County, Colorado, USA
August 11, 2017
The species I think this is should not be in Colorado. I do not see white hairs that would make it B. albipennis.

Ospriocerus
Yep, it's definitely an Ospriocerus (Asilidae)

looks more like a big robber fly to me
A quick search led me to Ospriocerus but wait for a real fly expert to weigh in

Thanks for your help
You might be right. I will check out that genus.
