Size: Between 1 and 1.5 inches
There were dozens of these on my window screens for several hours each morning from July 24-27, 2017. Images are on a door and the doorjamb.

Actually, I'm quite convinced that there's nothing else this could be. Compare . Nice find! These used to be found all across the continent but are now restricted to a few western states, mostly in mountains.

I really had no idea what this could be; other than it resembled an antlion. Thanks for the ID as a Giant Lacewing. New species for me. I'll have to thank my cats for alerting me to their presence the first time.
