Probably Stereomita andropogonis - Help! - Stereomita andropogonis
Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA
August 29, 2017
Came to light at night. Have seen a lot of these. Suspect Stereomita andropogonis (#1725) as in previously-submitted photo from this year. Also, note comment on photo from last year here. I looked through his account and could not find any, so I suspect they aren't posted? Perhaps if we can figure out what they are, we should go through Gelechoidea or Gelechiidae and make sure there aren't more of them just sitting there?

Moved, Stereomita andropogonis
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. Batrachedra is very similar, but your images don't look quite right for the genus, so I think this should be it. Your photos match those in the guide perfectly.
