Muscid Fly - Phaonia ? - Phaonia

Muscid Fly - Phaonia ? - Phaonia
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada
Size: ~ 10 mm
At first I tought it was a Cluster Fly -Pollenia but the wing venation and patterns led me to Phaonia. Is that right ?

Moved from Fanniidae.

Moved from Calyptratae.

Moved from Flies.

It looks like
a cluster fly info here

Not a cluster fly
1. No golden hair on thorax
2. Different venation (note "smudges" on wings here)
3. Abdomen striped, not "checked", and an odd color

I'm not sure what it is, but you may want to check Lauxaniidae
