07/16/17 Cut open swellings on stems of sweet cicely, Osmorhiza claytonii, as part of an ongoing investigation into what the heck causes the swellings; small adult weevil found in a stem less than an inch away from one such swelling. Swelling and its accompanying weevil shown in this series.
