Well now my question is where do I put it in the guide. I can't seem to find what subfamily it would be in. Thanks for digging around on this one!

 
Ophraea rugosa
It is already in the right subfamily only this is a new genus for the guide. Somebody with editorstatus has to make a new genus and species page.

Tom, can you give some more details on this beetle (size, plant you found it on etc). Seems like an interesting Galerucinae from the antennal inplant. If so, probably even a new genus for bugguide.

 
1/4 inch. I am not familiar
1/4 inch. I am not familiar with the plant it was on. I saw a couple of these guys on various plants. Habitat was juniper and oak in mountain canyon.
