caterpillar - Orgyia leucostigma

caterpillar - Orgyia leucostigma
Wesley Chapel, Pasco County, Florida, USA
April 16, 2017
This was on a live oak in suburban central Florida. As can be seen from my other submissions from this spot, this tree was the caterpillar capital of the region. But this species was most numerous, abundant in fact. They were crawling over everything, including us, when we sat under the tree.

Very good, thanks.

White-marked Tussock caterpillar
The distinct red head and overall apparance tells me that this is Orgyia leucostigma: .
