Mature larva overwintering within stem of white vervain, Verbena urticifolia

This species is sometimes but not always associated with limited swelling of its host plant's stem

Neolasioptera sp., det. Raymond J. Gagné, who also says, "The host [plant] species you have is new" (pers. comm., 04/09/2017)
