Myrmekiaphila spp.? (M. torreya?) - Myrmekiaphila - male

Myrmekiaphila spp.? (M. torreya?) - Myrmekiaphila - Male
Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, USA
November 4, 2017
Size: Approx. 15 mm body
Found wandering inside my house. While trapped under a glass, it played dead extremely well at one point and I was convinced. Once outside it ran away quite quickly.

The pedipalps were very long and club-like and make me think it was a male. Hairy legs, with two tarsal claws from what I could see. Number and arrangement of eyes was difficult to make out from my pictures.

Further research shows likely a male Myrmekiaphila spp. trapdoor spider, perhaps M. torreya based on their observed range (Bond and Platnick, 2007). Males wander for females this time of year.
