Erastria decrepitaria - female

Erastria decrepitaria - Female
San Antonio, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Bexar County, Texas, USA
August 31, 2007
This is not such a great photograph (of not such a great specimen), but I only had one chance. I am fairly certain that this is a Geometrid Moth, and I'd maybe go as far as suggesting the genus Xanthotype. Could it be Xanthotype urticaria? Any help would be appreciated

Moved from Moths.

Not sure if the genus is correct,
but if it is, see comments here which indicate identification to species is not possible without dissection. Some of the species don't live in Texas, so you may be able to narrow down the choices.
