Syrphid Fly - Allograpta obliqua

Size: small but not tiny
I observed this small syrphid fly visiting the flowering plants on the south side of the swimming pool in the gated community that I live in. Although it is small it is not as small as Toxomerus occidentalis which to me is tiny.
