Lipaphis pseudobrassicae
L. pseudobrassicae and L. erysimi are frequently misidentified since they look very very similar. As far as is known, L. erysimi is only present in northern Europe, while L. pseudobrassicae is widespread.

Yes, my mistake! I was looking at this picture here on bugguide and somehow picked up the wrong ID in the comment. Thank you.

The whole page was misidentified!
I just changed the whole page to L. pseudobrassicae and added some links on the info page that explain the mix-up. So you were going off the information you were given, it was BugGuide that was incorrect.

This has caused quite a bit of confusion with aphid ID for a while now.
