If you're not certain...
...please consider posting to a higher taxon. You may very well be correct, but I see that a number of similar specimens have been left at the subgenus level by experts. One example:

Thanks
I don't know how to post to anywhere but the ID Request link. :-(

same process as ID Request
navigate to the "Images" page of the most precise taxon you're confident of, say Diptera or Large Crane Flies and use the “add image” link on the upper left side of the page to bring up the “Submit image” form. After that, it’s just like posting to “ID Request”.
It's always best to post to a higher taxon if you're not positive about the ID.

You posted it to species :)
I'll move it for you.

Thank you
I may have figured it out. If I am confident of an ID and post it to a higher taxonomic level will experts review those posts as they would for ID requests? Or, would it be wise to remain with ID Requests?

If you have no idea what kind of bug you have...
...ID Request is the safest bet. However, some experts never even visit ID Request, so images are moved into the Guide, where they are more likely to be seen and, with luck, identified. Please feel free to post to your deepest level of certainty (I stress certainty; please don't guess). The images will receive expert attention (provided that we have experts for that particular taxon)--and the ID process will not stop until it's been taken as far as possible. For some of the discussion surrounding posting locations, see this discussion.
