I found this fly below in the genus Gymnosoma.
(Colorado) The wing veins and antennae don't seem to match that genus and I believe that Dr. Woodley may have misidentified it. That one seems to match the fly that you linked, above.

 
Confusing
That fly appears to have smaller antennae than Besseria.
