Poo and silk on Wulfenia bullii

Poo and silk on Wulfenia bullii
Green County, Wisconsin, USA
July 31, 2017
This poo was found on Wulfenia bullii leaf along with the silken webbing and the leaf mines. Not far from this area was a dime-sized area of herbivory.

Found this poo on the same day on another leaf

Herbivory
What is visible in this photo is "window feeding," where one epidermis is consumed and the other is left intact, whereas leafmining is feeding between the two epidermises. I don't know of any leafminers on Wulfenia, so if you found any that would be very interesting.

Thanks.
I was not familiar with the term "window feeding" and appreciate knowing the difference. Love learning!
