Psocid - Blastopsocus semistriatus - female

Psocid - Blastopsocus semistriatus - Female
Beech Bluff, Madison County, Tennessee, USA
November 3, 2017

Official name...
Blastopsocus semistriatus (Walsh) 1862. Known from female only. This species may be parthenogenetic, but there could be males lurking out there. It would be really cool if you found some!

Moved
Moved from Common Barklice.

DR. Mockford says this is ...
Blastopsocus semistriatus, female. This species has a rather limited range (Illinois & Michigan). Nice find. You have added a new species to BugGuide!

Cool and thanks!
Cool and thanks!

Working on this one...
Wing venation looks like Hyalopsocus but the marking on the vertex does no seem right for H. striatus or H. floridanus. Do you have the specimen?

No, I didn't collect it.
