Remarks
Ranges of Lucilia cuprina and sericata overlap in southern United States. Both species have three postsutural acrostichals and a pale basicosta. Usually cuprina is a coppery color (hence the name) and sericata is green. Eyes of male cuprina are more widely spaced.
