Size: 15 mm (to abdomen tip)
When discussing a Chlorion forewing. Bob Biagi said: "Check the third sub-marginal cell on the wings. The hind edge meets the marginal cell at the same point as hind edge of the second sub-marginal cell. In the genus Chalybion, they are always well separated."
I took the liberty to add an arrow to the original image to illustrate the feature Bob pointed out.
