det. as Megalopsallus sparsus (Van Duzee) by Dr. Thomas Henry, based on these photos and physical specimens from the same series.
Dr. Henry: "It is a variable Atriplex-feeding species ranging from uniformly green to green dorsally and dark ventrally and on the lower half of the head as in your photos."
