Somatolophia - male

Somatolophia - Male
Alpine, Brewster County, Texas, USA
April 19, 2017
Rindge '80 says that the two species found in Big Bend Nat. Pk., haydenata (with 4 records at MPG from Big Bend)and petila (with numerous records in Rindge) can only be separated by the male genitalia. Sure wish I had kept this one. Looks to be a male as the female antenna is mostly simple, not pectinate.
