I think this is a narrow headed sunfly (Helophilus fasciatus). Is it ?

English name
If you got "sunfly" from the genus name, it actually translates to "marsh lover". It's from έλος ("helos", marsh), not ἥλιος ("helios", sun). I have seen male Helophilus fasciatus patrolling muddy puddles in early spring.
