Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle - Harmonia axyridis

Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle - Harmonia axyridis
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
April 11, 2005
This is the only lady beetle I've ever encountered that acted "aggressively". It acted much like a jumping spider does...turning to face me and often rearing up on its hind legs.
