Camptomyia?

Camptomyia?
Aliso and Woods Canyon, Orange County, California, USA
June 13, 2017
A large group of these midges were drifting around in a shady, damp oak woodland. They were attracted to a stray piece of spider web -- besides this, I never saw them land on plants or anywhere else. They are an impressive size for a Cecidomyiidae, and sport quite a leg span too. They appear to be Camptomyia?
