Caterpillar found eating Curled Dock (Rumex crispus). It made a pupa/cocoon and overwintered in refrigerator. Removed from refrigerator on April 15, 2000. Adult eclosed May 13, 2000.

I have three of these now in pupae form. Today is August 12th. Should I put them in the refrigerator? Do they need to be put in soil? They didn't have any soil in the jar, just leaves. Now they are in a new jar with soil. Advice happily accepted! :)
