This is Brothylus gemmulatus.
This is Brothylus gemmulatus. Chrotoma dunniana is superficially similar, but has the sutural and outer margins of the elytra slightly darkened and doesn't have the vague darkened ante- and postmedial elytral spots that are present in most specimens of Brothylus gemmulatus. This is a male and males of both species lack lateral pronotal tubercles, but the females of Brothylus gemmulatus have pronounced lateral pronotal tubercles and are therefore easily distinguished from Chrotoma dunniana based on that feature.
