Kukulcania hibernalis - male - female

Kukulcania hibernalis - Male Female
Okeechobee County, Florida, USA
The male, with an almost three inch leg span, next to a female as an example of the massive size female hibernalis can attain. The female has since molted from the time this image was taken, and is in fact even larger now (carapace and leg lengths, and the abdomen can attain a larger size as well depending on prey consumption).
