Brown things
Anderson County, Texas, USA
Ignore the date, this has been in the freezer.
I can’t remember what the little brown things on beetles are called. If you could refresh my memory of these little brown pests, thank you.
Also, I need a way to remove them. They are dead from being in the freezer and they hardly scrape off.

Ok. It’s just every time I don’t put a date it has a default date

beetle is Nicrophorus sp; mites are Poecilochirus sp
They are associated with the beetle and actually help by killing off fly maggots that might compete with the beetle's larvae

Thank you for the identification
And also, quite interesting
