Watson's Tallula Moth (Tallula watsoni)? - Tallula

Watson's Tallula Moth (Tallula watsoni)? - Tallula
California/Home, St. Mary's County, Maryland, USA
September 15, 2016
Going through old moth pix and found this one unidentified. I think it's a Watson's Tallula Moth (Tallula watsoni). Can you confirm? Thanks!

Moved

Just wonder ..
Is there a reliable way to distinguish Tallula watsoni from Tallula atrifascialis on photos?

range?
According to the maps on MPG, Tallula atrifascialis hasn't been reported north of SC or TN. I think range alone might be a factor in the ID?

Also
That's correct. Also, watsoni is much larger, if a direct comparison is available.
