Wondered if this might be Anaspis flavipennis, but not sure if there are other options for BC.

Hi Libby & Rick,
This is a nice leiodid in the genus Catops. Note the antennal difference in comparison with Scraptiids (Anaspis sp.). Many leiodids have the 8th antennomere notably smaller than the 7th and 9th, forming an "interrupted" club of the last 5 antennomeres.
The one similarity with Anaspis is that they both have transverse striations on the elytra, giving a granular appearance.
