Size: Wingspan: 4 in.
Adult male came to night light. ID by an expert examining the specimen. IT WAS A DOOR COUNTY RECORD. First time found in Door County, even though many experts had been looking for it for 40 years. Host plant is Tamarack (Larix laricina), of which we have many.

We found one here in Lander Wyoming
My Husban found one of this beautiful mothes from his work place here in lander wyoming this last spring today he gave me a cadapiler from the same shop so i thought to look them up to see what they were to my surprize it was this i have no idea if it has ever been found here before or submited we will photo the moth and the cadpilliar and submite them to show sincerly from lander wyoming
