A nice accent for your car
All I get are dead flies. Black and red - my car color - are favored by insects, especially if the finish is metallic. (Looks like water is the theory.)

The dark and the gold flecked
did look very much alike. I think the spelling in the guide is Deloyala.
Now, after I've found them in the guide: this one looks like D. guttata to me.

Correction
Now I've looked at biol.uni.wroc.pl/cassidae/katalog%20internetowy/deloyalaguttatafig1.htm and there the guttatas have more irregular spots while the ones of lecotei seem to be larger and more regular.
