Apamea amputatrix dark gray form? - Mniotype tenera

Size: forewing 19 mm
Is this the dark gray form of Apamea amputatrix? They have been previously recorded from Ketchikan, south of here. Attracted to porch light near garden, brush, conifers, grass, etc.
