Pachybrachis atomarius - Pachybrachis - male - female

Pachybrachis atomarius - Pachybrachis - Male Female

Just got this identified to species by an expert in this genus so I'm as confident as I can be on the identification. I just don't know or if I have the authority to post this in the Guide section as I'm no expert here. Found on wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) in backyard prairie planting. I've also seen them 5/29/16 on prairie dock, same location. I'm told the plant this species feeds on is unknown.

Moved from ID Request. If you’re sure of the determination, you can place to species on the identifier’s authority, though it would be nice to know who identified it.

It was identified by Dr. Robert Barney from West Virginia State. He's authored 7 publications on this particular genus and recently named a new species found in Kentucky.
