leaf-edge mine on willow Caloptilia? - Phyllonorycter

leaf-edge mine on willow Caloptilia? - Phyllonorycter
Pine Brook, Isanti County, Minnesota, USA
Date unknown but slide mount stamped July, 2011. Not reared. Vacant when found. Note pupal exuviae. Length of fold about 3/8 inch.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

The fact that it pupated in the mine indicates a Phyllonorycter. Caloptilia would exit the mine to complete development in a leaf fold or roll.
