I was told by a friend that this is a honey bee. Can you narrow it down to species? My apologies for the quality of the photo. If you can confirm 1) that this is a honey bee; and 2) perhaps offer a species name, I'll understand if, eventually, you frass this photo.

Yes, a Honey Bee
There's only one species: Apis mellifera.
