Size: 3.8 mm to tip of abdomen
4.3 mm from tylus to tip of hemelytra.
Coordinates: 32.2543, -107.7429
Sweeping vegetation.
Col. and det. as Nicholia eriogoni Knight by J. T. Botz.
Plant Bug PBI has records of this species from CA, AZ, NM, TX, MT, and northern Mexico. As far as I can tell, there are no photos or even drawings for this species in print or online (except for these now). Fortunately, it's included in Slater & Baranowski (1978)(1), and keys out pretty well. I went back to the original 1929 description and found that both the male and female specimens matched the described characters, particularly the distinctive coloration, antennal proportions, and male genitalia.
