Cowpea Aphid (Aphis craccivora)? - Portland, OR

Cowpea Aphid (Aphis craccivora)? - Portland, OR
Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA
September 30, 2017
Size: <2 mm body length
On horseweed (Erigeron canadensis).

From the solid black shiny carapace, as well as the general seasonality and distribution, I am leaning towards A. craccivora (vs. A. fabae, A. rumicis, and A. hederae):

Don't think so.
Aphis craccivora never has pale siphunculi, always dark, the head tends to be dark as well, and the legs are banded, not solidly pale. I'm wondering if this is parasitized and that's why the body appears so dark when the appendages and head are pale. The second specimen in your hand fits A. craccivora better, but is difficult to see. Both specimens seem fairly dessicated.
