Musca domestica? - Lucilia cuprina

Musca domestica? - Lucilia cuprina
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
June 20, 2016
I am kinda shocked that there is NO entry for this species in Georgia nor in a number of states in the Deep South since we here are over-run with them by mid-Spring. Too common for picture-taking? Not a good attitude, for sure...

Data Point
While I commend you for trying to fill in data points for a common species, I am pretty sure this is not Musca domestica.

I am leaning towards Family Calliphoridae, which is from a different superfamily.

I can't quite make out the details I would use to be sure, would prefer another confirm.
