moth - Chionodes phalacra

moth - Chionodes phalacra
29.797499, -100.998049, Val Verde County, Texas, USA
February 9, 2018
It flew away before I could take a photo of the lateral view...

Checked with Kyhl
Who agrees that this is likely phalacra, though the darker scaling on the thorax is odd.

Moved, Chionodes phalacra
Moved from ID Request. I think this is it based on Kyhl’s comments and the appearance, but there appears to be some confusion with these species.
