Not sure about the ID, but I am familiar with B. algens, and it's usually plainer than this, with more elongate wings, and also tends to fly late in the year (I get them in a willow swamp in northern Pennsylvania in September).

Paul, Thanks for your input. Comparing my image with others at BG, some of the details still seem a very good match. Especially the brownish patches in the PM or ST area, the black and white streaks on the veins there (pretty faint in my image) and the dark outlining of the spots.
