Having just now reared Guener
Having just now reared Gueneria from eggs, I still think these wild-caught caterpillar images are Gueneria, but I'm A bit puzzled all the same. This looks quite similar to my presumed final instar from eggs and yet the head capsule looks like another molt is imminent. So perhaps this (and my egg-reared late larva) are penultimate instar? Or is the odd head capsule of this caterpillar a result of having been victim of an unidentified parasitoid wasp?
