Size: 1.5 inches wingspan
From looking through the guide I think this is probably some kind of Checkerspot or possibly a Crescent. Anyone wanna make an ID? Thanks!

Lots Of Black
Plus it's got lots of black along the submarginal edges of both wings - I always find that interesting.
