Data posting for this species in Illinois, for the month of September.

I was surprised to see that nobody anywhere had posted one for the month of September. So, I guess that makes this one a very unusual sighting.

Funny cause I think of these as one of the more common southern sulphur species. Nice one.

 
Rare Here
They seem so rare to me here where I am that the four that I've posted are, in fact, the only ones I've ever seen.

Locally abundant near food plants. There are places I can go and literally see groups of 25 or more...just depends on some luck at times!
