Unidentified Beetle

Unidentified Beetle
southern Adirondack Mts., Saratoga County, New York, USA
February 21, 2018
Size: 1-2 mm
Several of these tiny (1 to 2 mm) beetles appeared in our bathroom after a window was left open for a few hours. Outside temp about 35 to 40 ⁰F. However, I’m not certain they entered through the window. They seem to be attracted to water droplets though some have appeared in other rooms of the house. They have persisted for several days, but we haven’t noticed any obvious signs of damage. Photos were taken with a hand-held microscope. Any ideas on ID?
