Compacta capitalis - Hodges#5233 - Compacta
Trinity River Refuge HQ building, Liberty County, Texas, USA
September 12, 2017
Confirmed by James K. Adams.

Moved
Moved from Compacta capitalis.

Compacta hirtalis?
Not to disagree with James Adams, but this is much smaller than capitalis. When IDing mine (all about 11-12mm fwl), Ed Knudson told me that the last confirmed (specimens) of capitalis were Blanchard's in the 1960s. Ed thought capitalis has since been extirpated in TX.

OK
I'll move to genus level and keep getting shots with ruler when possible. Thanks
