Rd&Blk Longhorn - Crossidius discoideus - male

Rd&Blk Longhorn - Crossidius discoideus - Male
Aguirre Lake, Buenos Aires NWR, Pima County, Arizona, USA
September 30, 2007
Size: ~4-7mm
Looked through many pages of Cerambycids and came up with Batyle suturalis. Can someone confirm please.

Moved
Moved from Crossidius.

The plant...
is Gutierrezia microcephala, FWIW.

Crossidius discoideus blandi
No, it's not: Batyle has shorter antennae and red head.
This is another Crossidius, this time Crossidius discoideus blandi Casey, 1893.
You can confront the type at: http://plant.cdfa.ca.gov/byciddb/details.asp?id=6162

Thanks
Francesco - had looked at Crossidius and almost suggested that genus, but certainly didn't know the species and as it turned out, I went with my incorrect second guess (Batyle).
