Thank you
Thank you for the id. I had looked at these colors until I saw them in my sleep. Thank you both. Rick

You should tag and move these nice images to the guide
- instructions are in Help/images if you need them.

Thanks again
I didn't realize that these images were not automatically included if of good enough quality. Thanks for helping me with that info. They have been tagged and moved.

Cotton Stainer
see guide. There are a few other spp. in FL but yours seems to match the others already in the guide.

Hemiptera
I'm going to tentatively say that it may be a Pyrrhocoridae. or a Lygaeidae. I can't really tell based on the information in this picture. do you know if it had ocelli?

something that may interest you, I'm sorting a batch of true bugs from Madagascar and your lateral image almost exactly matches the specimen that I was having trouble identifying. I'm fairly sure that I ended up placing it in Pyrrhocoridae after spending twenty minutes or so keying it out. although I could be wrong because this one was very hard. If anything there is a very high likelihood that this is a transient species

Ocelli
I have gone over my other images and have not been able to tell. Then again I'm just a novice and could not see any dorsal or lateral. I'll add another angle to see if that helps you. Thanks, Rick
