Leptophlebiidae-possibly Choroterpes sp.
Roger,

Meant no offense, just wondering if you had a best guess. At any rate, after researching mayfly genera known to occur in Big Bend National Park, I compared the photo to each genus and found that it closely resembled Choroterpes of the family Leptophlebiidae, rather than any members of Heptageniidae.

Regards,

Matthew

Perhaps
Perhaps so.

Narrow it Down?
Hi Roger,

Are you able to make a stab at narrowing down which genera it might be, even if the photo does not allow for positive ID?

Thanks!

Narrowing It Down
