Big Creek, about four miles south of Medical Springs, Union County, Oregon, USA
July 23, 2017
Attracted to lights. This specimen was an excellent match for a pinned specimen in MPG. It's a new species for our moth survey project.

Moved from Hulstina aridata. The range for aridata is more to the south. At this location in Oregon, this would be H. xera. See information recently added to both species here at BugGuide and see especially the range map for these species in Rindge (1970) that is linked under citations for both species.
