Thanks. I now see your pap
Thanks.
I now see your paper that I missed 2 years ago which had great pictures of the details and the new genera.

check the mentum
White Pine county is within the distribution of X. ulkei. If it is that species the mentum will project strongly downward, easily visible in a side view. The range of X. simplex almost reaches White Pine county. In this species the mentum is not produced but instead is flat and in the same plane as the underside of the head. A third species, X. luscinus almost reaches this far south, but has very small eyes and the images preclude it being that species.

Added views - mentum & hind femur
Consistent with X. ulkei.

I have added another view of the mentum (couldn't get a good cross view due to lack of depth of field). This shows the mentum reflecting the light back showing the submentum pointing towards ventral and at almost right angle with the mentum.

Referencing your paper, the ventral distal end of the femur is subdentate (small lobe) which is also consistent with X. ulkei.

If you agree you can move, or I'll be happy to do so.
Thanks

Moved for expert review to Ochodaeidae
You have everything imaged except the pygidium, which may be needed to go further (although specialists in the group can prob ID as is).

Moved from ID Request.

pygidium needed supplied
I've supplied the pygidium and propygidium (showing the longitudinal lines) which takes me to Neochodaeus I believe. Correct?
